Movie is Nearly Unwatchable

After his chocoholic wife, Jennifer Tilly, overdoses and dies early on in the film, Jeff Bridges moves him and his daughter, Jodelle Ferland, back to the home he grew up in. They arrive in the middle of nowhere only to find the house dilapidated and vandalized. Jodelle cooks up her fathers favorite "Vacation Cocktail", which after shooting up he is dead by morning. This leaves the young daughter all alone to fall deeper into her fantasy world as her fathers body decays.

Jodelle Ferland damn near carries the entire film by herself through the coversations and interactions between her and her collection of doll heads. This is in between spying on a a creepy lady she meets who is always in black and has both a taxidermy fetish and a fear of bees. The Bee lady has a younger retarded epilectic brother whom Jodelle befriends in an uncomfortable creepy kind of way.

movie has many influences and themes mixed together, and makes you feel extremely uneasy throughout, but I enjoyed it.
