after careful deliberation, lots of badmouthing, and general avoidance, i broke down and watched the first one. it really wasnt as bad as i was thinking it was going to be, except for dr. doom, he sucked. everything about him sucked.

and now i will watch the trailer for the new one and edit furthermore.

Agreed. But to be fair there's not very many other ways for him to look - I remember one of my mates commenting when we watched T2 that the T1000 looked like SS! A little more definition and a little less 'tinfoil' in appearance would be nice.

The trailer was OK, looked quite decent. Hopefully they go with the original storyline and SS is at war with them (til the blind artist bint sorts hims out ). Unfortunately they're saddled with the plastic cast (bar Chiklis), not much can be done about that.

I'm wondering how they're going to deal with Galactus and SS's home planet (and his family)...that's all kinda integral to the storyline...but I fear it'll need someone with a little more class and storytelling ability than the current director. Hopefully the movie is a success though...cos SS is a bit of a transient...I can see Spidey and Hulk tie-ins if this one's a success (and it's about time some fucker made a proper Hulk movie!!! Fuck Ang Lee!!!).

see the trailer today and it looks good. i enjoyed the first one so im looking foward to it. the silver surfer does look like a t1000 though.
