Yeah,
it's retail, but they screwed up with the subs.
You have to overburn to get it on cd.

they are very blocky !!!

what happened there?

the best scenes are screwed up !!!!

Well im getting this now and i hope your right about 95% being great, cause i can live with that.

One thing though, if every dark and high action scene looked crap then more than half the film would look crap, though it shouldn't be blocky cause, i dont think ive ever got a 2 disc 2 hour DIVX that only had a 160kbps mp3 as the audio, Oceans 11 was 384 ac3 looked great, Blade 2 was 448k ac3 looked great, so i doubt its as bad as your making out.

How come if you put TS and it looks shit but watchable, people are all wow great quality, but put DVD Rip and all of a sudden people expect it to look like a DVD, be happy you have access to such a great rip this early, at such a bargain price.

ok i aplologise, this isnt a great release, no ac3 sound

2 Discs so loads of space to make the picture great, i wish, still an okay release, and some bits look fine, but the burning building bit near the end looks very blocky

To all who say this release sucks your wrong this is a great RETAIL DVD RIP the fight scenes and all are great not choppy or anything if they are choppy on your pc its not the groups fault its your pc's fault

its not choppy as far as i can see, but it is kinda pasty on the skin colours and blocky in the high action bits

Open Virtual Dub mp3

open video file and look at the "FILE INFORMATION"
wait for quality report

eg. cd2 is around 57% quality

that does NOT deserve a video quality of 9.5

maybe a rating of 7 ???

Overall, it is a mediocre rip, but it doesn't deserve a rating of over 9 !!

The action clips and dark scenes are very blocky.
The remaining scenes are very good. NO complaints there.

as far as i'm concered its a pretty great release. Encoding these movies have come along way in a little over 2 years.

Lets not nit-pick. I've got some real crappy quality movies burned from the early days and i'm not complaining anymore

Bah no AC3

Video Quality is very good, but too bad audio isnt AC3 or even 5.1 channels, i hope ViTE or DVL wil release the PROPER version with AC3 5.1 audio.

Yupp.. my thought too... if some groups manage a good SW ep II on 140mins with AC3

This one is as perfect in length as it will ever be for AC3

Too bad the comics in the vobsub doesn't show up with Direct vobSub
