Since 2001 i have been using vcdquality.com for reviews on movies, jpgs to get an idea if the movie is going to be a crap silver or at least a watchable russian TC.

Years ago ESO, UTi, TEG-VCD, Centropy etc spoilt us with excellent "Telesync" Copies so when accessing the main vcdquality webpage www.vcdquality.com it always brought up the VCD section first, showing us their latest releases.

As you the moderators of the forum have obviously noticed. Time has changed.

XViD Rules the movie scene now.

If you look at the main webpage there is only a handful of 20 - 30 VCD Releases, average of 50 posts.
- Main page looks really bare compaired to years ago. Release & Post wise.

Now if you look at the xvid part of the webpage there multiple XViD releases and hundreds of posts.

Me as a leecher, id much rather download a 1 CD XViD copy then a 2 or 3 CD VCD/SVCD Copy. (im sure mutliple people agree).
- i always bypass the VCD section and very rarly look at SVCD section.

Also todays scene the XViD always gets released first. (just like old times).

Suggestion - Place XViD as the main www.vcdquality.com section.

XViD is always released first, what people look for, also what people post on.

I'm going to agree with you. I have some "real life" friends that frequent this site that think it is still lacking in updates. Basing those thoughts on the fact they don't think enough to click on the "avi" page, that is besides the point. The index page for vcdquality is the store front, and the awesomeness that Dwaggy coordinated a few years back to give the site a facelift is not doing it much justice anymore without the popular content.

Dont get me wrong, i think VCDQuality has done excellent over the years.

Just once again time has changed, the main frontpage VCD section always looks kinda bare and empty past few months. While XViD has fluroished and what people are downloading & posting on.

I thought about that also after i posted this thread.

There is way too much XViD TS/TV/DVDScr & DVDRip to post all for 1 main page. The TS's would get lost in the 1001 DVDRips.

I thought of that also, having like VCD & XViD CAM/TS/TC/Screener/DVDScreener all on the same page and having a seperate XViD DVDRip page.
