I suppose you can argue that it's as much of a "TC" as every film that was ever recorded onto film rather than digial tape then released into DVD.
All DVD's where the video gets reorded onto analogue film (pretty much every film) has to go through a professional telecine machine to capture every frame.
Russian R5 releases just don't have the full professional tc transfer that r1/2 releases tend to.
R5's, however, do have better quality than the "underground" tc's that used to regularly come out of russia.
Video is pretty good - slight grain
Audio is not terrible and synch is fine
Movie (I didn't like...
