my decrypter ios running at 1.3x my winrar is extracting files real slow and my quick par is running realy slow..i did a virus check i have no viruses any ideas what it could be?

Disk fragmentation?
Disk space?
Disk over-utilisation? (try extracting to a different drive for example)

Have you installed anything new recently? Is it just disk operations that seem slow? What's your "average" CPU utilization and number of processes in Task Manager? How much available ram do you have?

Questions, questions questions.

i started my comp in diagnostic startup and it does the same thing..its real weird because when i downloaded a few thisngs that night it just turned real slow.

besides ignoring the advice already offered,


here is a noobs advice,

run a good reg cleaner, run ccleaner, re-boot, then try again

otherwise take av1s advice and throw it out.........its broken
