Two great looking films on the Horizon

American Gangster has got Oscar whore written all over it. Then again, if it is as entertaining as it looks it probably won't win shit unless Denzel bends Russel over and makes sweet sweet love to his backside.

And this one, Shoot em Up looks amazing. Far too entertaining and masculine to be considered for an Oscar, despite Paul Giamatti's excellent looking comedy hit man.

well american gangster does come out in the heart of oscar season. we'll see....


speaking of oscar whores. i wonder(seriously) which movie that gets an oscar nom this season that will have cupid's hate near the level his dislike towards babel and brokeback mountain ????

ok so hairspray gets six/seven oscar noms...and cupid kills himself...


i think american gangster can get various noms.but it won't have a chance at a best pic win(it might not even get a best pic nom) because the departed won last year/and it's unlikley a film a similiar genre wins back to back years ????
