Question iPod tag recovery...

Is there a way to recover tag information from a corrupt/repaired ipod?

I'm currently stuck with a bunch of tracks that read e.g. MVXZ, RTPV etc etc.

When browsing the contents in details view in explorer it shows the tag info, is there a way to get this back other than to look them all up and enter the information manually?

I think that if you add that folder into Itunes and set it to automatically sort/tag the files...then it will automatically re-sort all your music files back to the orignal filename or whatever...

Im pretty sure but not positive...

Try browsing your iPod with the Winamp Media Library. It reads the tags correctly and should let you copy the files to your computer.
