Well you see...my cousin bought an Xbox 360 which got the Red Ring of Death, but at the time, I guess he was unaware that it was a "normal" problem so he went out and bought another one. The same thing happened to that one so I'm guessing he then read up on the problem and found that he could send them in for a working console. So he sent one in, got the working one back, and then gave the other to his friend. His friend decided he didn't want to have to go through the needed steps to receive his working console..so he gave it back to my cousin. My cousin then gave it to me, and now all I have to do is wait for Xbox to ship me a box to put the console in. Then I will be receiving my 360 in about 20 days.

And that's how it was..."fixed."

Just as long as you don't want to use it for HDDVD viewing (at least long term).

Blu-ray
Disney/Buena Vista, Fox, Warner, New Line Home Entertainment, HBO Video, Sony Pictures, Lions Gate.

HD-DVD on the other hand has Paramount, Dreamworks, Universal, and The Weinstein Company

Looks like most are siding with blu-ray (although both still have heavy hitters) , to be quite honest with the decrease in the price of the ps3 more units are going to get sold and blu-ray movies will increase , i've just purchased my first , the spiderman trilogy for £26.99

The issue isnt if you use it or not but the fact that you have no choice with regard to purchasing it. (if you wanted a ps3)

example ford making a/c standard across there car range

great in florida

not so in alaska

This was my point nothing more

We've got Uncharted but I haven't played it yet, watched it tho and it does look good. I might give it a blast later in the week.. I hear the controls are excellent.

Also picked up that Spidey boxset, was in HMV for £30 so treated myself, just a simple cardboard outer but hey. Not bad value really.

Can't believe your cousins friends gave away an xbox360 because they were too lazy to send it off. Wow.

Ok, so I guess my cousins friend did send it off, but got tired of waiting so decided that he would just buy a new one. And besides, around the time he sent for it was about the time that my cousins other Xbox gave out (so his friend just gave the one he was to receive to him).
