Windows update problem...

I keep getting Error 80004002

I've tried numerous things, googled around a bit, and even used Error Repair Professional, ironed out a few DLL errors, but still no working windows update.

It simply says "Windows will not update"
Dunno what the problem is but figured I'd post it on here.

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

AMD 64

RAM: 3 Gigs

Need anymore info just ask.

Try asking in the Computer forum. Or Takwhori's thread.

This error usually indicates that a Windows Update DLL is not registered correctly. Try this:
Open an Administrator Command Prompt (Start->All Programs-->Accessories-->Command Prompt, but right click and select the Run as Administrator option).
Register the Windows Update DLLs by executing the REGSVR32 command, followed by the name of the DLL to register. Register/re-register all of these:
wuapi.dll
wuaueng.dll
wucltux.dll
wups.dll
wups2.dll
wuwebv.dll
For example, to register wuapi.dll, run REGSVR32 wuapi.dll, and press enter.

::Edit:: if it doesn't work post your windowsupdate.log http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902093

I should have mentioned it earlier, but I've tried re-registering the DLLS, and I believe only 1 registers the first one listed, and the rest pop up and display that they will not register and state another error code.

I'll display the codes when I get home.
