I'm having a problem with my main computer networked / sharing files. My other 2 PC's can share files fine, however, my main isn't even seen.
I have folders shared (on main) and nothing comes up. I'll share a folder if I go into "my network place" it still show nothing for my folders. I've tried to run the network wizard 15 times on all 3 computer with the same result. It's being more of a problem because I just got a xbox 360 and it doesn't see my computer all my music & movies on it.
My all 3 computer work great on the internet with no problems.
Any ideas?

1. Make sure all PC's have Microsoft File and Print Sharing installed on the Network Card properties
2. Make sure they're all in the same Workgroup
To be honest, I was helping a friend with this a couple of weeks ago but it was painful via MSN so I pointed him at a couple of online guides for troubleshooting... Have a Google, there's several good guides out there.
Is this a new problem? or has it been ongoing. I'd say if they have never seen the other machine, that you should check the workgroup info first. If this is a new problem, take teh offending machine and change its workgroup, restart, then change the workgroup back and restart
had the same problem with my old desktop few years back. couldnt even open \\127.0.0.1 or localhost. Im sure it was a netbios problem or one of the netbios services not functioning correctly. never got it working until i formatted and slapped a fresh OS down.
go to my network places>entire network>microsoft windows network and you can see all the workgroups in case your network is spread over multiple workgroups.

This sounds more like a LSP problem or bad hosts file. Way easy to fix.
