Good film. Not Tarantino or early Ritchie, but still good stuff. Farrell definitely shows his strength in Irish roles.

Slow-paced, unconventional, dark comedy drama which was not quite what I expected after seeing the trailer at the cinema. I quite enjoyed this one and didn't really miss the AC3 5.1 sound - sometimes it as worth saving the bandwidth of a whole CD worth of space for the sake of only slightly better surround sound.

Though not strictly a comedy, there are some laugh out loud moments in the film. Maybe this would qualify as a dark comedy. Anyway, the story is terrific, the scenery (in Bruges) is wonderful and the movie is highly entertaining. Be warned, the ending is violent.

Highest recommendation. Great job as always by Diamond. Kudos
