Your claim to fame!

ok, I was trying to think of something exciting to post in the forum but came up blank. So instead, I've started this thread instead.

Do you have a claim to fame? Have you ever accidentally told a star to fuck off? Served Kim Jong Il in a cocktail in a gay bar? Wiped Presidential spooge off your face?

Now is the time to spill it all. Tell us WHY YOU SHOULD BE FAMOUS!

I've got a few that are so unbelievably shit I'm only posting them so you can mock me

1. Richard Branson once got me a coffee.
2. My Grandad was best mates with Stan Richards/Seth Armstrong
3. I once groped Michaela Strachen
4. I accidentally gave incorrect directions to Michael Fish

I'm sure there's other exciting people I've met in the past, I'll let you know Frankly, I reckon I should be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

I'm hoping we've got at least one person on here who can do better than a bearded dick, a dead bloke, an old slag and a weather man

I gave Mrs McClusky from Grange Hill wrong directions once.. she didn't look pleased as I didn't know who she was until after my sister had mentioned it :/

Leslie Crowther once came to my school. He was kind of cool.

Im sure I met Timmy Mallet once too.

I have pinched Whigfields ass.

Called Clive Owen a Wanker. Edit:: Correction, I actually called him a Twat.

Spilt a Beer on Martin Kemp

I'm related to Declan Donnely . He is my second cousin IN LAW or something like that, married to my sisters husbands second cousin or some kind of thing, I dunno, its thin buts its fucking true or so i've been told. Never actually met him.

My Cousin is a model and married to a Australian Gangsters son.

Kicked Zeljko Kalac in the head when he was just some gangly looking, 7 foot tall, second string goalkeeper for Leicester City after he tried to start a fight with my short skinny mate. (He wasn't on the floor and I am no Jackie Chan, I was in a pub and used the bar for extra lift)

Thats about it. Oh, I once sat next to Floella Benjamin on a hovercraft on my way to France. I was 8.

Played poker against lots of celAbrities. Mike Tindal, Norman Pace, John Higgins, Austin Healy, that dude out of primeval. Met most of the hendon mob and my mates got Grub Smiths mobile number after getting to a final table with him.

Stood next to Craig Charles in a pub in Maidstone (who promptly picked his phone up and started talking to an imaginary person thinking I was going to talk to him - I may have done, but only to see if he had any gear on him).

Watched Vic & Bob film a comedy sketch outside previously mentioned pub in Maidstone (never did find out what it was or get to see it).

Bumped into (literally - I wasn't watching where I was going) Mel B. from the Spice Girls in London.

Got woken up at 6am by Keith Chegwin in Wales last year when he did his Chegger's Camping thing on GMTV (cunt!).

Had a drink with an ex-member of the Anti-Nowhere League.

John Leslie hosted a dinner/dance event at one of my old companies.

Justin Bell took me around Goodward Race Track in his own race-spec Dodge Viper whilst I was at a corporate race day (courtesy of previously mentioned company). I also go to drive a stock Viper around the track as well as drive several other awesome cars (inc. classic Dodge Charger, Plymouth Prowler, Merc S500 etc).

Met Sammy Miller (and my brother got his autograph) who, definitely not known to people here, was the man who piloted a rocket car (no, not a jet car... a ROCKET car - the same rocket used by NASA in their lunar module at that time) up the drag strip. His best time was 0 - 386.26 mph in 3.583 seconds at Santa Pod in the UK (which is where I met him) with his "Vanishing Point" car. That's more of a personal achievement as no other fucker knows who he is.

There are a few more but I can't remember them at the moment.

:EDIT: ..oh, I saw Queen in 1986 at Queen's last concert before Freddie Mercury died. Not much of a claim to fame but still worth mentioning seeing as some of you here weren't even born then!

I shook Kenny Roger's hand at a tennis tourney when I was about 15.
Skin to Skin with the fuckin gambler.

I met the chili peppers twice -- one at a show and once at a small meet and greet.

I went to school and jammed with Finger Eleven. Formerly the Rainbow Butt Monkeys.

Hmmm.. must be from Canada, Toronto?

I saw Finger Eleven live at my campus pub back in... 01 or 02 when they did a college pub tour. That was simply an amazing night (Durham College, Oshawa).

Erm, I'm guessing I was drunk/stoned when I posted in it too... Just pretend it never happened Anyway, this is claims to fame, it doesn't have to be famous people you met, maybe you have the world record for teabagging pitbulls

Have been banned 3 times from this most hallowed of sites and still have come back to play some more. Now what did NS say. Oh I remember. To be banned is kind of a “cleansing” experience. Well I’m cleaner than any of you dudes. Hence my claim to fame.

My grandfather worked very closely with Mike Tyson in his prime pre-ear biting, met him.

met vanilla ice about a month ago at a club in the hamptons as well as more bullshit 'reality tv' stars then I can even list or be assed to remember their names.

pretty sure that's it and what a winning list!

Fuck! I forgot my other claim to fame...

I almost didn't go on holiday back in '93 after getting drunk in the departure lounge at Manchester airport and threatening to kick the shit out of Mr Motivator - the jumped-up little cunt pushed past me then let a door go in my face so I gave him an earful. Next thing he comes back over to me shouting his mouth off so I dropped my hand luggage and prepared to smash his face in... Only to be foiled by his (or airport) security herding him away from his impending ass-kicking.

If I see him again I still intend on punching that cunt

That reminds me of another claim to fame I have. A girl I went out with in High School used to claim Mr Motivator was her uncle, may or may not be true.
