WTB Better way- streamline audio re-encoding?

NEPTUNE xvid indy screener....

I fixed the audio this way- converted both discs to mpg, demux'd audio from video - edited wav with goldw***, duplicated good channell and scrapped noise one , popped it all back together with tmpgenc dvd A-3.... this took a loooooong time.

My question is - is there a better method?

(all in one program that re-encodes specific audio channels on the fly?)

Or am I just being lazy?
