Problems playing on standalone and XBMC. Works fine on pc. To hide the blur on the top and bottom in VLC set aspect ratio to 16:9 and crop to 221:100.

Agreed with those massive horizontal bars - you'd think they'd crop them out rather than send it out like this - otherwise the quality is great.

Hiding the watermarks with a these HUGE pink blur bars is a joke...
A first time encoder can do a better job - wtf??? And why mask the watermarks if it ain't contains any serials?

I cropped myself a copy using VirtualDub so my little nephews could see it with their divx player without getting their eyes damaged... it looks worst then PUKKA TS release now

I'll download the proper when available.

It's a damned fine rip but yeah, those bars are all kinds of fucked. How come they're so "obvious" and such a weird colour (I'm colour blind, is it really fuckin pink??), a simple blur/blend would've been waaaaay better, as it stands the bars tend to scream at you as you watch (I doubt kids will care though).

V - 7 (lost a point for the stupid blurring)
A - 8 (sounds great, no complaints)
M - 6 (meh, I was hoping for something funnier but this is a bit too soppy and sentimental at times for me)

The blurs appear to be too much for me, only because of the color. And the resolution isn't high enough (IMO).

@gezzer: the TDM release is just a croped reencode of this one, you can notice the pink bars in that release as well, altough most of them are cropped.

Audio won't work on my standalone. Not an issue on any other scene release...

V: 7 - Bars really detract from the image
A: 6 - Encoded wrong somehow if it won't play on a standalone. Sounds okay on a PC.
