Need Bummed?

Mermaid in a manhole

Was downloading ariels beginning for one of my nieces when i came across Mermaid in a Manhole ...

Plot:
An artist finds and rescues a mermaid in a sewer. He takes her home with him and she develops sores all over her body that begin to pustulate and bleed. He uses what oozes from her sores to paint her portrait. When he can no longer handle it anymore he breaks down and dismembers her body.

It's part of the "Guinea Pig" series. Have it downloading now. Anyone seen this one before?

Hang on... This really IS a movie? No prizes for guessing what type of movie I was expecting I'm almost disappointed, mainly cos I doubt I'll ever get to see this flick and I'm not getting to see any mermaid-themed poontang either.

Downloading it now, got to be worth a watch with a synopsis like that. Should get at least 3 wanks out of it.

I wouldn't recommend it if you have anything else to watch. It is cheaply made, effects are on a par with Red Dwarf series 1. I didn't watch the whole movie continuously, I skipped forward 5 seconds at a time and stopped on interesting looking bits.

It was kind of sick, very strange and the ending was seriously twisted. For those who aren't gonna watch it, i'll tell you the ending now................

...................SPOILER>...........................

It turns out its not a mermaid afterall, its his pregnant wife who has been battling terminal cancer and has tumours all over her body. When the 'mermaid' dies the guy cuts up her body, blood starts dripping down to the flat below, the people in that flat call the police.

When the police arrive and break down the guys door you see the guys wife chopped into bits, an unborn baby lying dead on the floor and the guy sitting amongst the blood and body parts holding a blade and murmuring some shit to himself. He gets arrested, goes to court, insists he cut up a dead mermaid, not his wife, gets sent to a nut house. The End.... But, a fish scale is found at the scene and it remains unidentified woooooOOoohhh.

I only ever bothered with the first, and that was years ago. There was the 'making of' for that one as well, and from memory it was the one that sparked off the FBI investigation. I know at one point people bringing it into the UK were arrested for owning a copy!

That's the first interesting thing I've read in the movies section for a while. Respect.

I have 8 DVD's that I dl'ed a while back, was told that it was the full series, don't know if that's true. Grabbed them as it was relatively early in my Asian movie fascination and read that it was the most extreme of Japanese movies - it's not, I've come across more extreme since.

Never made it to Mermaid. The first couple convinced me that it wasn't really my thing.
