It looks like the end could be close for fans of the xbox360 live. The new dash is released on the 19th Nov and is rumoured it will ban anyone using a modded box on live! Not seen any proof this as yet but im sure time will tell. Whats the views and is there away around this coming in the near future.

Lets be realistic there is like 1 good game out of 10 released. Most of the games do suck bad. Ie movie games are the usual pooo.

Anywho, the new dashboard is out to download (Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard). I installed it and really like the look, though it will take a little getting used to.

update, will bring streaming Netflix movies to the Xbox 360 instantly transforming the device from ‘simply’ a games machine into a new distribution platform for the movies-by-mail pioneer.

That means Xbox Live members will have instant access to the Netflix catalogue of more that 12,000 movie and TV shows. Once selected, movies begin playing in about 30 seconds and Xbox Live members can browse and rate movies, fast-forward, pause and rewind using either an Xbox 360 controller or universal remote.

Other enhancements included in the NXE overhaul include a new and much more modern looking UI which replaces the rather tired looking blade interface, a cleaner, more intuitive Marketplace channel where users can buy games-related items and the ability to set up virtual parties involving up to eight participants who can play a game together or share content like photos

If you're like me and do NOT use LIVE then I would get this and UPDATE your dash (but remember you can't download the DivX update until the 19th).

Note: You do NOT need a flashed 360 to install this UPDATE.

Going through the dash, it does seem more functional. You can copy games to the hard drive. No more noisy rom.

Fallout 3 won't install. First bug.


Of course you still have the disc in the drive to play from the hard drive.

Can't Neversoft make no cd craks?
