HDMI prob MK2

Having an issue with my lcd i don't get to see the pc screen till i choose who to log in with so can't access bios or see the cylon bar go across when booting up, and if i don't have the channel on (av4) when i boot up i don't get any screen which then forces me to shut a hard down but i here the music sign it off
Looked at the video card can't see a setting for that, but if i hook the 15 tv on it shows all as i had to do this to install a sata 2 drive last night and today

Any ideas

I got a new dell arriving tomorrow (with luck) which has the following

1GB Nvidia GeForce 7950G GX2 (2xDVI, 1xS-Video) Output
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme

Anyone know if i will have the same problem if i put tv on standby (or unplug if i go out ) and leave base unit on, as i'd rather not have to keep taking the lead out of the tv if i can help it

Yep was the card or the settings now i got this beast i can turn it off and on as i want to
