It wasn't that bad. Not 'good' by any stretch, but not that awful either.
The girl surprised me when she was keen to see it - turns out some friend from work had told her it was great  - and seeing how tired I was I figured it would be an easy way to catch a couple of 10min shuteyes dozing through a pile of crap (so I had some energy for the interesting part of the evening), so said yes (mostly cos there was nothing else I hadn't seen or wanted to see).
It was a bit of a throwback to the old slasher movies of the 80's and early 90's: tits, weed, a couple of laughs, annoying teens, pretty girls, and camera pans to reveal the killer...nothing revolutionary or 'original'...but, perhaps, slightly better for it: more of a homage to the movies I watched as a teen.
There are no Final Destation-esque deaths, they're pretty olskool standard Jason slashes. But there is a nice unexpected 'double start' to the movie, certainly not what I was expecting...and that's probably what woke me up when I did start to doze after 10mins or so.
Difficult to rate it as it's not a great movie, but considerably better than I thought it was going to be.
Compared to every other movie you could see: 5.5/10
Compared to what I was expecting: 7/10
PS: check out for the chick called Bree's tits...they're fucking lush! Even the guy she's shagging says something like "You've got fantastic tits!"
