The first one was nothing short of fantastic. Watched it again the other day and I appreciate it just as much but in different ways to when I was a kid... Punz hit the nail on the head, there's plenty of subtle stuff (mostly due to Bill Murray) going off that you just don't "get" when you're a kid.
Second movie was ok, it was still Ghostbusters but it was served with a side order of cheese. Statue of Liberty? Bite my lilly white arse!!
I expect the latest movie will be a paint-by-numbers affair with loads of amazing special effects that whizz by, are really blurry and make no sense. The script will have been written in an afternoon and the whole thing will feel more like a homage rather than a sequel.
Does anybody know how many of the original cast members are in the new one?
