If my dvd player plays DVD-R...

Will it play a SVCD file on the dvd -r?

i dont think it works like that, mainly because the specifications for svcd and dvd are different (audio bitrate is one of them)

www.vcdhelp.com is the place u wanna go for into about that kinda thing

Wink u can...

u can use DVDit! or sumother DVD authoring software to burn SVCD files to a DVD-r. i've done that with BOTW. and it turned out fine.

oceans 11 svcd on dvdr

Ive got a dvd-r with oceans 11 on which is a svcd and its got dolby digital as well.
