Plot Outline: The twins of Paul "Muad'dib" Atreides, Leto II and
Ghanima, become embroiled in the political landscape
of Arrakis ("Dune") and the rest of the universe. As
they grow, their lives are threatened by the rule of
Paul's increasingly unstable sister, Alia,, as well
as from Princess Wensicia of the deposed House Corrino,
the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, and the Spacing Guild.
With the fate of the Empire at stake Paul realizes
its one great hope is an heir who can lead humanity
down the "Golden Path" to enlightenment.
