        RIPPER NOTES:

This is the only "shockumentary" worth seeing.
Forget junk like FACES OF DEATH and other exploitive bullshit!
This is a movie with a more intricate and more political
approach to violence in the american society.
Banned in the US (I wonder why? :) the movie gives us
        gun/ drug-problems, serialkillers, massmurderers
and basically everything fuxxed up with the United States of
America. We follow important people like: Martin Luther King,
J.F.K, Robert Kennedy, John Lennon and their executioners...
Sure, the movie might be shocking sometimes, but it's
not a tad worse than prime-time newsbroadcasts. It works on
different levels. It's not just a graphic depiction of blood
and mayhem, but an interesting tale about a country gone bad.
A powerful reminder that the gunlaws and drugproblems still
are a cause for a country in grief and demise.

Leonard Shrader (brother of Paul Shrader - Taxi Driver screen-
writer) was a co-director (producer and writer) of the movie,
and like his brother he tells the story of an american dream
        lost in traumatic episodes.
If you don't like depressing and disturbing social commentary
don't download this. The sample gives you enough information
        for your consideration !

I also included a DVD BONUS feature: "A brief history of Mondo
Movies" which I highly recommend. It gives you a great
historic walkthrough of Mondo Movies. Hope you like it !
Finally - The DVD print was not very good. I have seen VHS
tapes with equal quality, but the consistensy in the print and
the audio quality makes it ok after all. The movie is hard to
come by, and a US r1 release is not possible at this time
since the movie is banned in the states !
As you will notice I fought a battle against Pixel-Heaven, but
this was the best I could do. A High-grain NTSC master combined
with extreme interlacing as the rawmaterial, I guess it's
good enough to wath. Otherwise just don't download it.
I doubt there is a better print available.

But trust me - It's worth the consideration.

Watch the movie and buy it !
