The movie is set in a barber shop on the south side of Chicago. Ice Cube
stars as Calvin, the owner of the barber shop. A $50,000 reward if
offered in the town and the barber sets off to solve the crime by
questioning every person who comes in for their haircut.
Eve will play Terri, the movies lead female role. She gets to bonk Ice
Cube on a barber chair after finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her.
Shooting for the big budget flick starts January 15.
Sean Patrick Thomas ("Save the Last Dance") and comedian/actor Cedric will
also star in the movie.
Rapper Ice Cube started his movie in 1991's 'Boyz N The Hood'. He was
also in 1995's "Trespass", 1997's "Anaconda" and in 1999 co-starred with
George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg in "Three Kings".
