From vaudeville and ratio to Hollywood and television, the late Red Skelton was
truly the King of Laughter, and this hilarious compilation celebrates his reign
with comedy bits, sketches, and Red's trademark ad-libs. Included are a rare clip
of Red's famous vaudevill routine, "Guzzler's Grin"; a prevue for his film Public
Pigeon No. 1; and footage from his Emmy Award Winning show, with guests such as
Jack Benny and Ed Sullivan. Ed enacts such memorable characters as Cauliflower
McPugg, Clem Kadiddlehopper (Teaching Pedestrian Polo), Willie Lump Lump (Showing
how to make a salad), Deadeye, and BBC newscaster Lord Beaverhead. You'll also see
rare clips from a rehearsal show with Martha Raye, with uncensored ad-libs and goofs
never aired on TV, and a classic blooper that occurred when an onstage cow contributed
its own unique "ad-lib".

opportunity to get when they were first released. Internals are hard to come
by and everyone knows that it's even harder to find some of the older releases.
We are not out to add to the scene with new/unreleased movies, we are a classic

All our releases are min 4pass VBR, non of this AVBR/CBR crap. Audio is ALWAYS
224 no matter what. There really is no need to drop the audio down any more than
that in our eyes. If it means an increase of a CD..so be it. We are dedicated to
