     during World War II. Among them were many women from occupied 
     countries, as well as Jewish girls and women. The film 
     illustrates the system of mass recruitment, but also draws 
     attention to the discrimination these women have faced in 
     their own countries, where some have not been rehabilitated 
     even in the present day.
