Jorge is a 25-year old janitor who is desperately searching for a better job. This undertaking is complicated by the fact that he takes care of his handicapped father who had a heart attack 7 years ago. Meanwhile, his jailed brother Antonio finds a girlfriend, Paula, who wants to get pregnant--then finds out he's infertile and asks Jorge to get Paula pregnant. While Jorge is considering this, his childhood sweetheart Natalia returns after several years.
