Plot:
In this prequel to Wu jian dao (2002), Chen Ying Yan has just become
an undercover cop in the triads while Lau Kin Ming joins the police force.
Both the triads and the police find an enemy in a rival crime boss.
Ripper Notes:
Why we chose Mandarin instead of Cantonese audio? Overall this film showed in
more Mandarin theatres than in Cantonese theatres. IA2 had an audience in
mainland China, Taiwan, and Singapore, all of which were Mandarin
speaking regions. Even IMDB lists the movie by the Mandarin title.
Most people who speak Mandarin can't understand Cantonese, whereas in the areas
that speak Cantonese like Guangzhou, their education system is based on Mandarin
so most Cantonese speakers in Asia understand Mandarin.
For the US/EU audience, those who learn Chinese in college or wherever learn
Mandarin and not Cantonese.
We encourage groups to do dual audio SVCDs of HK films whenever you can.
Finally since HkM seemed to have ignored DU's release in their NFO so we'll
provide some useful information here:
DU's CD2 was undersized at 532MB. This makes their average total
bitrate at ~1530kbps, video rate at a little over ~1300kbps. This movie is
borderline 3CD and a 260MB undersize causes video quality to suffer.
DU's audio is 48khz which is not SVCD compliant
