First of all, let us explain in clean detail the problems with this DVD.
1. Extended scenes have hollow audio and aren't exactly 100% on target.
2. Extended scenes aren't %100 digitally remastered.
3. Extended scenes make no sense to the movie, unless he's dreaming it.
4. Extended scenes look like a decent telescene.
These are the 'ALL-NEW EXPLOSIVE BEGINING and ENDING!', ya right... what a scam.
Why did we release it? What other choices were there...
a) No one releases it and you get scammed out of buying it again.
b) Another group does it and uses DVDShrink or screws up the whole DVD.
(Beacuse this was the hardest DVD we ever seen)
c) Or we release it, and you find out what a scam this DVD really is.
On the original DVD gives you a choice after pressing play, theatrical or extended.
If you select extended it will play theatrical vobs till it hits a certain point
then play another set of vobs (the extended scene), then it will resume back
to the theatrical. It also pasues the movie for a few seconds, which also
was a ghey thing. It also has where you can watch the opening/closing scenes
from the extras (which we took out, cause there already in the movie). Granted
they look different, but thats the way the DVD company made it. All this could
have been avoided if the DVD Company would have remastered their begining/ending.
So all you complainers can just buy it for $25 bucks and then get back with us
so we can tell you "WE TOLD YOU SO!"
Well since we took out the theatrical version, we edited out the choice menu.
Hitting play will just play the Extended version now on one set of vobs.
Nice and Simple... (For those non-believers check VobID:62 and 63 with MenuEdit)
For those experts out there that said there are small glitches in the xvid and
svcd, this was created using decomb IVTC. Since the DVD jumps vob sets, we had
to CELL ID rip this through the mapping of the DVD. So on the DVDR we manually
IVTC it, Manual TMPEG IVTC->VFAPI Converter->VDUB->CCE Render. Hopefully a smoother
ride, it just took forever thats all. So if you think you can do better, buy
the DVD and try to rerender this yourself, either way were sick of this movie
and all the hassles it put us through. And for what... getting flamed for
something we have no control over and calling it a dupe even after scanning the
covers, 'tards'... we didn't make the movie... sheesh...
Subs were ripped due to it being on 2 vobsets, and we didnt feel like manually
altering all timecodes.
If you notice now, if you wish to purchase this DVD there are now 5 versions to
choose from. It shouldn't be us who's anal raped for this release, it should be
Universal. So write them an e-mail!
Just for the record... all these Bourne 1 dvds are for the part 2 movie hype, they're
just reselling you old stuff to promote the new movie, and were daft enough
to keep buying it.
