burger-dat-fix.ppf (optional; read on) -SPRNTRL^ + This is a ppf patch for The.Day.After.Tomorrow-burger (burger-dat.rar) + This is not my fix for the disc, but rather the DAT_FIX.ZIP posted on a.b.dvdr by Alister Fiendrepackaged into a much easier to apply ppf3 format. This way you dont have to extract the image in order to patch/replace the files. + This Patch fixes (straight from his .nfo)... just fixed/changed a couple things fixed the subtitles so instead of 3 plus 5 or so blank ones, i reduced it to the 3 that are on the DVD. also fixed the label so it says English when you turn on English subs etc. removed a couple intros/warnings. removed the audio button since only english audio is on this DVD and the subs pointers didn't work anyway. I did this for myself and thought i'd post it. didn't like having to press the subs button 10 times to go from english to no subs. otherwise great release. ****Label your .nfo with an .nfo file extention next time rather than .txt**** ****Thanks for the good job on the patch though.**** + The patch includes an undo option so if you dont like what the patch does, you can revert the image back to its original state. + Remember, this is not my patch, i am repackaging it in order to make it more usable. + Burger's release played flawlessly from start to finish without any modification (Congrats Burger on a fine release), but for thoes of you who don't like little annoyances like missing subtitle language codes, this fix should help you out. + The Menu on this disc is quite "low budget" looking. I am not sure whether this will be the menu on the retail R1 disc, but due to the lack of a Special features button and its cheap looking nature i highly doubt it. This disc has spanish/portugese warnings before the menu so this, although NTSC, does not appear to be the US release of the disc. ++ Follow the instructions included along with the PPF-O-Matic (in the ppfgui dir) aplication to patch the file. + Please feel free to add any comments below and repost this .nfo along with the patch.
