Documentary series following seven home owners who are trying to
restore run down homes back to their former splendour under the eye of
three of the country's top restoration experts. Charlie Luxton is in
Essex to meet Middi de Luca, an Italian builder with a passion for
restoration. The de Lucas discovered their Grade II listed medieval
house at an auction and Middi has taken a year out to single-handedly
repair it, but when he removed the 20th century cement render, he ran
into major problems.
