-- Catch Me If You Can *iNTERNAL* - DVD SCR - V4F (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=13246)

hmm, changing the .nfo is pretty lame, no reason to give groups bad reps they dont deserve, let them earn that themselves i could almost understand if it wasnt internal, but it being internal no reason to flame group, now, on the quality of the release, sample seems about the same as tcfs, it is ntsc and not pal which is good i guess but wouldnt be reason to have proper, i think internal is fine, good realease, no need for flaming, pretty gay of vcdquality to change the .nfo

:: whoever did it certainly didn't do it on our behalf, i dont know who did it they haven't made themselves known yet. besides, it might've been doctored before it arrived at vcdq central so im not sayin nuttin -pHo

edit: ya sorry to accuse vcdquality, whoever edited it tho is pretty lame

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. v4f ? who the fuck are you ? Don't go around dissing the group which supplied us with the release of the year in 2002. Voted in theworldcharts (www.theworldcharts.de). (can you say plug ? . Take your flaming nfo and shove it up your arses newbs. If you start a war you should release more than one release every......well ever.

well this release is the same exact release as the tcf one, only that this release is encoded differently, slightly better. for video, i give u a 9, sound a 9, and the movie a 8. for v4f reputation for ripping off another group in addition to badmouthing a fellow TCF group, i give u a 10 for being FUCKING RETARDED.

Posted by Slander on 01-07-2003 03:59 AM:

why do u people care :/

its internal.. so obviously thye knew they couldnt do a proper.. and why do u care that theres another realese.. im gonna say it just like everyone else does and probaly get shot for it but ITS FREE DAMNIT JUST TAKE IT OR GO WAIT FOR IT AND BUY IT UR SELF grr.. people from VCDquality and isonews realy piss me off with there stupidity infact most of the scene does.. its pretty pathetic that u cant just appreciate wut these people do for u rather then rape them when they release something.. gee golly

01/05/2003 DVD SCR Chicago V4F 9.3 / 8.6 / 8.8

Not that this other highly rated release gives anyone the belivability to dis TCF . Just wish someone at vcdquality would change their nfo if it really is a fake.

Maybe it's just me, but I experienced a few problems with the TCF released. Major glitches near the end of cd3, last 15 mins was horrible. Audio out of sync + freezes. The picture was also pixelated *some scenes*.

Get this release if you haven't burned the TCF version yet, just for safety.

Looks great.

8/8/7

lol
come on guys.......... you can do better than TCF encodes like shit cant you? pffft

Posted by Redemption on 01-07-2003 02:27 PM:

I got CD1 of this just to compare it to TCF's and the differences are minimal, i personally prefer the TCF release, cause i prefer Pal, but its hardly noticable, even on a 36" Widescreen TV.

The NFO editing is pretty shitty and is obviously someone trying to start some sort of group war.

If you have the TCF version and your TV and DVD player dont mind PAL then stick with it, if you have neither then it depends on what format you prefer.

Man your a fucking newb. I love all these idiots who come on this site start talking trash about a group when they have no clue what they are talking about. First off V4F has been around for a long time and has always released quality dvdrips. They are not some new group to the scene. Also this is an Internal release. Its not a proper so there is no need for "Why is this out" or "This was already released". Second off Vcdquality change their nfo which is really scummy. I thought vcdq was better than that and didnt have to be on the same level as isonews. Finnaly TCFs release no matter how amazing you think the group is or how great their other releases were their Catch Me If You Can had problems. CD3 completly fucks up, audio is out of sync at some points, and there were a few pixelated scenes. Next time you newbs want to talk shit make sure you know what your talking about.

Apparently you are feeding off what every other hater is throwing at u, TCF's release was perfectly fine, no pixelation/out of sync/sound drops/freezes/etc. If you notice the ones who complained about it were probably newbies or rival group members since the majority were new posters with 1 or 2 posts. V4F's is a good alternative for people who can't play PAL but the image quality itself is not as good as TCF's so no point in dissing TCF since their release played perfectly on my Apex AD-5131 and Pioneer DV-434. People need to learn how to troubleshoot their problems before they blame it on these groups (but when it is the group's fault then I guess it's ok to burn them in hell) on perfectly working releases. Nice Job V4F, but I'll stick with my current copy.

Give me a break with this internal crap. An internal release should just be spread internally? So why label it internal and release it to the fuckin world? Once you can answer this question, then you have room to talk.

They didnt release it to the whole fucking world. It was internal and an updater from vcdquality put it on the site. This is proven because the nfo was change from what it orginally was. V4F didnt make it public vcdquality updaters did.

sounds like a cd burner problem my friend. i had the same problem with an old creative 8x burner. i got a 48x burner at best buy for 30 bucks (with rebates) and have not had the same troubles since.

i watched the TCF rls on my buddy's 1200 lumen projector at his work, onto a 120 inch super bright screen. the rip was inredible. hardly any micro blocks at all. if for some reason PAL svcd's dont work on your system, go for the V4F. otherwise, the TCF looks/sounds perfect

well v4f is beating tcf quality wise but prob not for the long run

Posted by cadillact on 01-08-2003 12:52 PM:

This release works for me

Since i'm a ntsc user and all pal movies get distorted on my tv I will go for this one. If i was going to watch it on the computer only it wouldnt matter which version.

I dont give a crap about who is first or second or third. I give props to all groups who releases in ntsc.

Posted by NinjaRoach on 01-09-2003 05:00 AM:

I noticed that there is a release by some dude named NiNJA (not me) who released a widescreen version of catch me if you can and that the TCF version isn't... is this version widescreen? I haven't seen the sample or any pics. I prefer WS over FS thats why I'm asking.

FAGGOTS

First off i'm staff. So its not like I just come to this site to post shit about newb groups who flame. Secondly.....staff do not change nfos. They post whatever is sent so don't blame us. Last... Driven better research who you talk shit about before you do it.

The tcf version is widescreen, 1.85:1 to be exact. Watched it on a 52" 16x9 rear projection hi def television with a US dvd player and it was perfectly great.
