Very nice pic, clear with nice colour. Audio is pretty good. I think i'll be missing the screener when it comes out.

BTW centropy obviously had to crop the screen for a reason, some ppl have gotta stop whining about it.

8/7.5/8.

high profile rls from ctp and they deliver once again. which is just as well really

8/8/8 in my opinion.

I saw the good ratings on this one and grew very optimistic. Maybe CTP has finally fixed all of their problems?

Better, but very far from perfect.

There's still an angle. And no, no one will "get over it", CTP just has to fix it.

But the real kicker is that the sides are butchered. This is terrible, and I hope this will not prove to be a recurring problem.

Also, these X-Men movies should be rated R.

gotta give it to ctp, best releases by far =]

Posted by deftones6 on 05-05-2003 03:49 AM:

when people say that there is still an angle, are we talking about the angle seen in view from the top and anger management, or the less noticable angle in confidence and identity?

Posted by parasiticgann on 05-05-2003 03:53 AM:

curious

someone correct me please. With the lenght of the movie shouldn't this be 3 cd's? it was 135min. long. I'm just curious cause i don't understand why its only on 2 cd's.

::They used a lower bitrate im assuming to fit it on 2cd's.

Pro's:
Video qual is top notch. Audio is from a direct source, at last.
Its heaps better than the other releases.
Con's:
there is an angle, though not really noticable at all times.
its cropped, both over\under and the sides

Vid: 8 on qual, 5 for being croped and for the angle.
Audio: 9. no complaints.
Movie: 9. it rocks

Very nice release, good pic , good audio. only shame is that a part on the end is missing. cd2 cuts off about 3 minutes before the end of the movie. guess they just ran out of tape

::Its not missing anything, maybe if u used vcdgear and checked fix mpeg errors, it will cut like the last 3mins off so dont do that, either burn the bin/cue or mount the image with d-tools.

Wow almost hard to believe this is only a TS. The only problems are minor, the slight angle which is less than previous releases and the small amount cropped due to the lens. Sound is also finally direct with no problems noticeable, going to be watching this release later tonight. Overall a great release and likely will be the best release until a dvd is released. 8/9/?

Posted by bryehn on 05-05-2003 05:30 AM:

the (slight) angle is a helluva lot better than the darkness and swubs, imo...this is burnable till we get a screener for sure...

7.5/8/9

1 movie I actually saw in the theaters and is needed to be seen in theaters. But since I have it was great. So now I've dled it and I will watch it again. Thanx ctp didn't think I was gonna see this till tomorrow. Alright update if anyone cares. I watched the whole thing now. The pic in the white scenes are blue with the magical blue tint not a biggy. The dark scenes are a lil hard to make out but for the most part they're fine so. 7/8/9

Just finished watching this, not to shabby of a movie, glad i watched CTP's rls. I didn't like the ending....they leave you hanging and its totally obvious that another xmen is coming again. Great quality by CTP, little dark in some spots. To WarMan, idk what your talking about, the whole fucking movie is there. Stop your bitching

Judging from film

Well I have to say big big props to centropy. This is the release you're all going to see until a rip arrives.I could'nt sit through the cam/subs and every other release has been worse than that.
Audio 9
Video 8
Film 3
Anyone concerned with angle etc don't get this or any other centropy release.Stick with the dodgy cam's with subs etc lol.
Thanks CTP
