i can't wait till all the new groups come out with even less skilled people! security at an all time low!

FAN-TAS-TIC!

and it'll be great when every retard has access to complete dvd9's, and when the MPAA start saying "its making a big dent in the money coming in" we'll have to agree, because it actually will for a change.

MSD still haven't released anything worthwhile. ever.

ummm... why is everyone arguing about these DVD9 releases.
If you dont like them dont download them, if you do like them then go right ahead and download them. Its as simple as that, no need for all the BS!! They were bound to be released sooner or later.....

never saw reason to jump in til now, but...

What about those of us who would like to do our own rip, and maybe watch the extras once on the pc before we rip and burn without them? As said before, what about HTPC users?

I personally like the idea of my own rips and the 8gb+ download doesn't bother me...

Of course... I'm not a siteop either...

MSD should stop releasing these shit unless its for a pre, this is just a crappy dupe. Anyone could upload this shit to sites...they are probably doing it for credits as well, laaame

For me, it's not just expense, it's time too. dunno about the rest of you, but I'm only on 5mbit....means twice the time downloading, added in with the cost of the media....you really might as well go buy the disc if it comes to that point. I know that other groups are going to release this stuff at some point regardless....the big question is how much of a demand will there be for it? Maybe if everyone's got this FIOS connection...

5MB lol

in the U.K most have 512K or MAX 1MB and i know loads who download DVDR

you just set it and forget it its not big deal downloading 8GB on a 1MB connrection its about 24 hours for 1 movie

so what you dont pay any extra for the amount of time it takes i would happily leave a 8GB movie going on my 1MB connection

as its still free and i will keep it on my HCPC until DVD9 blanks are cheap enough

Notice the word "most"

most people in UK are on 512k or 1MB

There are some with higher i know but not a majority

And unless you live near London (central Exchange) we wont be getting much higher until BT lay all the fibre optics they have begun laying

It's comming...

http://www.verizon.net/fios/

I hear they are testing in Texas 1st, and then Florida..
30Mb!! WooHoo!!

I think with in a couple of years, it will become as available as DSL/Cable (in the US anyway). And an 8GB or more download que really isn't too bad even at 1Mb.. I did it all the time, till I got 3Mb

But besides the download time, who wants to wait 45+ minutes to burn one??http://www.tomshardware.com/storage...cording-13.html

::BTW:: If ya got a liteon drive (even some 4x's) you can firmware hack them to burn DVD9's.

Was this originally a thread to rate a release?
