etc etc. So if its legit its not really too much to get excited over, and probably cant tell much about the story anyway.

It would be like if you took one of the 4 hour long LOTR EE movies and randomly picked 10 mins total composed of 5 or 10 second shots randomly scattered throughout the 4 hours. It wouldn't tell you much. And it would have lots of blue screens and be pretty ugly before they clean it up. Like if they shot a guy falling, you'd see wires, and you might see him hit a bed after a 2 foot drop, in the finished shot thats all edited out so its one continuious fall that kills the guy.

Just popped up on one of my sites. Not full film obviously and definitely not complete, just skimming a few of the rars.

Picture and sound quality is pretty rough, but it's damn interesting still.

yeah i think you may be on the same site as me grinch i just got this i think there maybe about a half hour of footage missing and cgi is lacking quite alot toby maguire is on a hang glider when spiderman is supposed to be swinging through the streets of new york and the fight scenes are made up of what looks like tekken ?

No not who takes shot, the actual footage shot.

Each day when shooting completes (or night...usually night) they're sent to LA via a fibrewire connection. Like file sharing actually funnily enough. That's why Vancouver is more popular than Toronto because there are huge pipes of these wires that run directly between the two cities. Toronto doesn't have those so the dailies take longer to get there and it can be frustrating. Plus the producers don't stick around half the time and instead you have assistants trying to decipher how to adapt the producers stupid notes to the dailes and give a report to the director.

anyhow...

what this seems to be are set photos, not dailies. Set photographers can be anyone with a camera who is hired to take stills and document the production. It originated as a security measure but of course now they're "artists" themselves *coughbullshitcough*.

These things were all already available for this movie anyway via any movie gossip site.

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if the MPAA threw these on here as a part of some sort of sting and are checking to see who grabs them.

I wish Jack Valenti would hurry up and die already.
