I don't drive, but I find it getting more and more annoying about people bitching about gas prices. As previously stated, it's not that bad if you count inflation. However, these dumb ass americans driving this huge ass escalades turning up the A/C all the way isn't fuckin helping. I see people with gigantic cars bitching all the time, and it doesn't make any sense. Americans have sucked up all the gas. And before you say I'm a racist fuck, I'm an American, and when I get my car, it's a gas guzzler. And before you start complainin about it being 90 degrees(farenheit) Think about me, I'm in Arizona, the average during the afternoon is about 115, I could care less about turning the a/c on because I'm not going to waste my money on gas and drive the prices up further.

So in essence what you're saying is you blame idiots like yourself for high gas prices.

So what you guys are saying is you don’t drive and don’t pay for fuel so you're not going to bitch about it and are pissed about everyone who pays for it moaning, great stuff fuck nuts. I’m going to start moaning about people who don’t drive cars moaning about people who do.... it would make as much sense, some of us have jobs to get to where we cant walk and carry equipment.

Why the fuck have you come into this thread? Is it because you can’t drive and have the hand to eye co-ordination of a goat on crack and clicked this thread by mistake?
Or are just eco warriors on a mission to convert us all to not using our cars without understanding the irony that there are plenty of pollutants made from the construction of the PC you are using or the fact that the electricity you are using is more than likely coming from a fossil fuel...

Well, I have no choice. Either I use the a/c in my van (front and back) or end up losing $1000s in products due to them melting. Chocolate has a tendancy to do that.

Jesus H. Christ on a skateboard, gas prices reached $3.09 here yesterday. I have to raise my prices starting today, no choice. Not when I'm paying $70 to fill my tank a fucking day.

Fucking gas companies can choke on it.

Katrina has totally effected everyone in the US.

Good point, though more indirectly. It's really hurting, and the devastion in New Orleans is really hard to watch. I feel for those people.

yup. $1.34 a liter here now.

So since a US gallon is 3.8 liters, multiply $1.34 by 3.8 that gives us $5.09 Canadian per gallon, which is $4.30 American for a gallon of good ol' Canadian gas.

we win ! fuck.

ThugNetwork, I feel what you're goin' through.. I've got family out there. But, I'm in Philly .. 3.11 at the station right across the street.. I have a 28 gallon tank on my truck.. now it get okay mileage at 23mpg.. and I don't drive it to be stylish, but the way I live, I've gotta have something capable of hauling my shit around, but yea.. the next time I've gotta fill up, I'm gonna be look in the range of $90.. this is freakin' terrible.

Oh, no, I seriously conceed that the UK has it far worse than the US, but it's just not something I anywhere near planned for. I was paying 1.46 at the begining of the summer.

The thing that really pisses me off is that New Orleans is the fourth largest port in the US.. isn't one of the primary functions of the DoHS to prepare for disasters at such an area? I mean, be it a terrorist attack or natural disaster, there still should have been some degree of preparation seeing as we've cut funding for every other department and group in the government to "prepare for the worst". This is an ultimate and utter failure on the U.S. Government's part, thus far. I seriously hope they can prove me wrong.

Posted by scottymac on 09-02-2005 12:30 AM:

$1.19CDN/liter
