Ghostbusters

Finally been released as a 25th anniversary edition on blue ray and quite impressed with it, lets hope they do the 2nd one too to tide us over till the 3rd appears in a couple of years

The amount of amazing subtle humor in the first one is fantastic, definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.

One of the few movies ever made that I've seen 3 times in the theatre (when it was originally released) One of my top 10 favorite movies of all time for sure.

2 was decent and hopefully 3 won't be total shit.

The first one was nothing short of fantastic. Watched it again the other day and I appreciate it just as much but in different ways to when I was a kid... Punz hit the nail on the head, there's plenty of subtle stuff (mostly due to Bill Murray) going off that you just don't "get" when you're a kid.

Second movie was ok, it was still Ghostbusters but it was served with a side order of cheese. Statue of Liberty? Bite my lilly white arse!!

I expect the latest movie will be a paint-by-numbers affair with loads of amazing special effects that whizz by, are really blurry and make no sense. The script will have been written in an afternoon and the whole thing will feel more like a homage rather than a sequel.

Does anybody know how many of the original cast members are in the new one?

All 4 Ghostbusters will be in the new film they have confirmed depending if the script is good

Ivan Reitman will direct on condition of the script as well.

Seems there could be a few more of these, seems there's going to be younger Ghostbusters crew that will take over the helm from what i have read, more info here

Not that early if you're a PS3 owner. It's out next week.

I've been playing it on the 360 though and it's fantastic. It perfectly captures the first film. I've been laughing out loud for the last few hours!

The game comes out tomorrow , I think it has all the original actors doing the voices.

I played it a bit today but it was heating up the card in my laptop to the point of it just killing itself, going to need to tweak some things and give it a good cleaning I think.
