sample is great.

Nice video qual and sound is really well done.
Got impression voices are deepest than the other releases, that
means it worth the watch , imho.

prob cause its not retail =x

i seen their Master & Commander get nuked with reason: german.pdvd.telecine.source (many places)

40 days early i guess was too good to be true and never a DVDR ;/

This copy - it spread might be able to find it ... but pick up while you can before this copy is nuked too

I mean you can get Matrix 3 DVDRip this early but no Kill Bill or / other big hits comming out in a few weeks ..... will updated when i watch the full movie.

From the sample i couldnt notice any cig burn marks on the screen , looked actually quite nice like a dvdrip the sound has a background hissing noise to it though.

Though i think this is suppost to be retail on April 6th , 4 weeks early might be a possibility ... *shrug*

dmd and chakra release a lot of tc's. their texas chainsaw massacre was deffinetly a tc. at least they could label their releases as what they are. but from the sample this looks like retail... but is fs so i won't get it, the ws version will surely appear this week. we got a 2 months pre of reloaded.

Posted by KrackZaa on 02-27-2004 06:35 PM:

if you watched the texas chainsaw massacre dvdr you would see that it is NOT a telecine, since the beginning were previews and whatnot for movies like torque and matrix revolutions, which happens on dvdscreeners, dumbass. check your sources first before you accuse groups of mislabelling. i mean its a telecine, but its professionally done, and was packaged for promo use.

yeah, definitely not retail...its either a really good TC or a promo...

and btw guys...all retail DVDs are Telecines

You know that just because its not ws doesn't mean that its not a dvd-rip. Like when you go to blockbuster and they have a widescreen and standard version... Chakra probably just had a standard version on hand....

Posted by commiewhore on 02-27-2004 07:10 PM:

the abuse of the term telecine

jebus chakra your pdvds look good, but just label correctly, we know. almost impossible to get retail movies weeks early, 3 at most....to get them more than a month early ? almost impossible, unless they are a direct distributor of the product signed with whatever movie industry, in this case you would think you had a warner bros. hookup due to Matrix, but how does that explain 20th Century Fox/Universal/Miramax connect...i dont get it...dont lie to us...until Replica drops the bomb diggity on the DVDR, and if its NTSC oh man it better be fucking real, cause its not even almost, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get retail this early...anyhow as for the telecines...yes the word is abused, yes ina sense dvds are telecines, promo dvds are telecines, but we are going off old school rules here people, back when a really nice workprint with all scenes was labeled telecine, nowadays with new technology people find it hard to label right

Afterdawn's definition, is pretty good, of the difference in telecine definitions, "scene" and "reality"...
http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/telecine.cfm

but in reality people, you can see it done in in centered position with a digital zoom minidv or telecine machine setup with a dolby theater 5.1 cd or a theater dts cd

technology has made this shit easier to do, and alot of people are taking advangtage...so enjoy it.

I work at wal-mart part-time.

And you're wrong, wal-mart, and other chains, never get shit this early.

:: Please Re-Read the sentence.. i didnt say it was from walmart.. i simply stated that a FS dvd will be rlsd the same day as the WS dvd. so the fact that its FS doesnt mean its not retail -FuzZ

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 02-27-2004 10:43 PM:

Let's just rate the movie guys
Its very nice, video is a 8 would have been a 10 if it was more digital and widescreen.. sound is definitely a 9 would have been a 10 if it was 5.1(AC3)...overall the movie is a 8. Its was good but the ending ruined the whole experience...

8/9/8

Can we get a WS retail ..pleeeeeeeeease ..Chakra..

amazing..I already got the dvdrip of Return of the King..and this is finally showing up. Shouldn't it have come first.

Obviously no, since this kind of movie is made all in digital, even the camera is digital...

The Matrix: Revolutions is an digital movie (almost), so no Telecine, it'd destroy the quality for nothing. Even the best Telecine ever made would make a crappy copy of this kind of movie.

Well, apparently you're the only one with a DVDRip of RotK then, because there isn't one released on the scene. We have the telecine, which is quite impressive, but not a DVDRip.

Hmmm, thats quite impressive , as to my knowledge none exist as of yet... sure you dont mean the telecine ?

anyways fine fs svcd , same as any other fs svcd to tell you the truth.,..

It's not impossible i had Spider-Man at home 3 months before it was released in the U.S. i have quite a lot of dvd's which i had 1 month or longer before they were released in the U.S. so it's defenitly not impossible.

Posted by XeroFightsAlone on 02-28-2004 05:29 AM:

australia gets the Revolutions DVD almost a week early (like the UK for reloaded) so the first real retail rls will be PAL.[/obvious]

I don't know how you people can say that this isn't retail. Just take a look at the DVDR release. Comes with menu and some extras. DVDRips have surfaced earlier than this before. It's not unheard of. As for it being FS, I frankly don't give a damn. It's not the greatest movie in the world, but it's worth downloading. I don't think watching it in full screen is going to dramatically change the thought I have about this movie.

SVCD: 9/9/7

DVDR: 10/10/7

Posted by aa_2000 on 03-02-2004 03:33 AM:

quality of this release is up to dvd retail rips, sound seems esp. good.

Posted by acidoklysm on 03-03-2004 10:35 AM:

it might be a telecine. which is dumb. ive yet to understand why groups resort to lying about their sources? they only hurt them selves (if the lie is obvious), and then they hurt the scene if they get away with it because a real TS, scrn, dvdrip, etc would always be somewhat higher quality. some groups have no honor...

7/8/9 cool flick but wtf was going on?

Reason for the low audio rating i gave
is b/c in both the last fight seen and when neo is talking to the big cheese the audio is not sharp all has and life the first cd on the other hand was just perfect.

...for an svcd
