360 New DashBoard Released 19th Nov

It looks like the end could be close for fans of the xbox360 live. The new dash is released on the 19th Nov and is rumoured it will ban anyone using a modded box on live! Not seen any proof this as yet but im sure time will tell. Whats the views and is there away around this coming in the near future.

Good, Buy the fucking games.

This isn't a system you should mod. The online play makes this system worth it.

Tekken 6 is also coming out, Not sure when though.

The next games to buy are
Dead Space
Gears 2

Can't wait for Gears 2.

I've always purchased games and dvd's if there worth buying. The ONLY reason I don't buy music is because RIAA is sueing people, That I don't condone.. The moment RIAA decides not to sue individuals is the day i buy my music again.

Lets be realistic there is like 1 good game out of 10 released. Most of the games do suck bad. Ie movie games are the usual pooo.

I suggest you stop watching garbage then. There's plenty of great movies that come out.

If 9 out of 10 games suck why not just buy that 1 game and not even bother with the other 9? You're just wasting your time playing 9 crappy games.

I buy most of my games used, The last two games I paid full price for was Soul Calibur III, and Soul Calibur IV. There's a HUGE gap between there, lol.

Anywho, the new dashboard is out to download (Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard). I installed it and really like the look, though it will take a little getting used to.

Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard NFO: "The software upgrade, which the Xbox team has been working on for the past nine months and which will be automatically downloaded like any other system
update, will bring streaming Netflix movies to the Xbox 360 instantly transforming the device from ‘simply’ a games machine into a new distribution platform for the movies-by-mail pioneer.

That means Xbox Live members will have instant access to the Netflix catalogue of more that 12,000 movie and TV shows. Once selected, movies begin playing in about 30 seconds and Xbox Live members can browse and rate movies, fast-forward, pause and rewind using either an Xbox 360 controller or universal remote.

If you're like me and do NOT use LIVE then I would get this and UPDATE your dash (but remember you can't download the DivX update until the 19th).

Note: You do NOT need a flashed 360 to install this UPDATE.

Going through the dash, it does seem more functional. You can copy games to the hard drive. No more noisy rom.

Fallout 3 won't install. First bug.

Of course you still have the disc in the drive to play from the hard drive.

Can't Neversoft make no cd craks?

i'm glad for the new release, can't wait to get it home and try it... my brother in law has had it for a couple of weeks, and it gave all sorts of errors for video chat, which we love having so my son can see his uncle...

I went ahead and installed it. I was very skeptical though. I didn't want to brick my system, kind of like Sony's fall update last year, lol.

Only thing I hate about it, The themes, half of my page is covered up by a white mass, lol. It should be all picture.
