video: 8 (slightly blurry/grainy)
audio: 7 (louder parts of the movie have a good amount of distortion/scratchiness, but still watchable)

Overall pretty watchable, especially for a R5 Line.

Why cant all Telecine's be like this.. Sigh

picture dvd quality (atleast r5) so good 9

sound cracks and isnt that amazing 6 but not horrid, BUT it is at times slight out of sync makin it a 5

movie well once again marvel made a crap story that could have been great but just didnt do the trick 3

best available ... so if u cant wait get this...

I suppose you can argue that it's as much of a "TC" as every film that was ever recorded onto film rather than digial tape then released into DVD.

All DVD's where the video gets reorded onto analogue film (pretty much every film) has to go through a professional telecine machine to capture every frame.

Russian R5 releases just don't have the full professional tc transfer that r1/2 releases tend to.

R5's, however, do have better quality than the "underground" tc's that used to regularly come out of russia.

Video is pretty good - slight grain
Audio is not terrible and synch is fine
Movie (I didn't like...

V - 8
A - 7 (FM receiver but synch is great)
M - 2

Video is cleaned up and better then a TC. Russian audio is stripped and added previous releases audio to it. Thats why you get sync issues.
