Nice jpeg, fast release... props to that, any one seen the sample?
OMG THATS SOOO ANNOYING I HOPE UNIVERSAL DOESNT START DOING THAT!!!
Get over the fucking watermarks, it isnt that bad, would you rather have a vcd release.... if so then go get that one. POST ABOUT QUALITY, NOT ABOUT HOW YOU DONT LIKE WATERMARKS!
8/8/?
well it looks like the watermark is doing its job
Smart idea uneversal, well from a business stand point. Less people will want to download this than if it had one at the bottom of the screen, like me. Ah well 6(cause of water mark)/7/4(WEAK ASS MOVIE!)

How about all of you people stop mentioning the watermarks. The more you bitch about them, the more the studios are going to put them on. Think about it for a second, u think the studio is gonna stop it because people who download their movies want them to? I DONT THINK SO! Just pretend like it doesnt bother you, and maybe things will change. If not, just shut the fuck up and wait for dvd rips, or download your poor ass telesyncs. Otherwise deal with the watermarks. Especially you swimj, i see your comments posted everywhere and you have the worst opinion on everything. I hate you.
pic not so sharp not one of tcf's best rips, sorry guys
6/8/?

That's great. I'll be putting this one onto a VHS tape... so I can save 2 CDs. I'll wait to burn the *DVDRIP* instead.

Hypocrits
Just wanted to add a comment regarding TCF. I know they are a good group, but I would like to know why they posted a proper of 8mile saying that the UTi version was flawed, when Hey what do you know they are releasing a sales screener now as well. What do you know. But Does that mean when another group gets a non sales screener but a dvdscreener does that mean they can post a proper. I think not. The reality of it is, they should have posted their 8mile as an internal. They lost the race but did not want to admit it. Therefore they posted a proper. Sure DVDscreener was better because of less watermarks, but the UTi version was not flawed. It was just a sales screener. Anyways, I guess now that they are getting sales screeners their is nothing wrong with them. Just think thats a little hypocritical thats all. Anyways, good job on the release, screeners whether dvd academy screeners or sales screeners are still a whole lot better than TS.

quote:They didn't say that the UTi version was flawed, they just said their copy was an unmarked version. If a group gets a academy version of this then sure a proper would be great (who wouldn't want a better copy?). Also the UTi version was undersized! A nuke reason for many sites.

there are other differences as well. first, UTi's version had a much bigger watermark, that filled half the screen. secondly, there's no telling that there will be an acadamy screener of this released. UTi probably didn't know that there were two versions of the dvdscreener available... it's the first scene release that i can think of that was like that (tho i could be wrong about that). in any case, yeah, if someone got ahold of a non-watermarked version, then a proper would certainly be in order, because let's face it, the watermark sucks. it's not like something that runs at the bottom of the screen a few times during the flick; we're talking about something in the middle of the screen throughout the whole movie. i mean come on, use some common sense here. of course a non-watermarked version would proper.
there aren't provisions in standard scene nuke 'rules' (or nuke tendencies i should say) on the issue, because the issue's a new one. but use your head, there is a *significant* difference between a flick that has a watermark running thru the middle of the picture during the whole movie, and one that doesn't.
any group who had that 8 mile dvdscr would have done the same as TCF, only most of them would have talked shit about UTi's version, rather than shown them the respect that TCF did. grow up.

slapdaddy: speak the words of truth!
Shame on TCF for releasing what "they" dont consider a proper release.
8mile UTi release.... proper by TCF? no need, heh they couldnt even get it right when they released it. Would have been better to accept another group beat them and take their time on an ineternal. Sure, TCF had less watermarks, sure the "sales screener" watermark was new ground, but "internal" would have deffinately been a better choice of words. Just cause they gave UTi props on nfo doest make it better. And now that they get their tiny little hands on a "sales screener" its all good and dandy? pfft! Quick! UTI get a "proper" of this to give them a taste of their own. Your subject post said it all "hyppopotamus" or was it "hypocritis". Heh, all in the same!
