It could be better. The picture is average telesync quality, very bright and grainy. The sound however is a let down it has a terrible hiss. I've seen a lot better from TMM. 5/4/6

Video is washed out looking and terrible hiss in audio. Oh well what do you want for free.

Horrible TS.
Colors are too bright, everything is green and the sound has a big hiss.

Thumbs up Nice Release

This release is great. I just got done watching the movie which was also very good. JoDiE fOsTeR fOrEvER. The only things that were slightly wrong with it was cropped a little too much and it had that hissing sound, but all in all, it's totally watchable.

much anticipated release

no, i haven't seen it, and only have a vague idea how to find it--- but this is a highly anticipated release, almost summer-movie like. so congrats to TMMVCD for nailing what appears to be a good quality relase.

hissy

picture is a lil bit blurry and there is a hiss to the audio other than that seems watchable.
video/7 audio/6
Nice one TMM!
wanted to check this film out

arggh, very disappointed with this release. such a good movie, but such a bad release. hisses way too much, youll get so annoyed while watchin it. and the picture isnt the best. if you dont have a fast connection, dont waste bandwidth on this one, wait till a better release of it comes out.

With a few video and audio editing tools you can get rid of the greenish tint and the hiss...it's not that hard.

Posted by plonk420 on 03-31-2002 12:26 AM:

geez.

i wonder how this'll turn out, seeing as how 95% of the movie takes place at night...

movie is fuckin' AMAZING. relentless. does not let up until the very last scene.

movie: 9/10

judging from the JPEGs, AR looks fucked, as usual. why do they do that?

Posted by eST0r on 03-31-2002 02:11 AM:

This was a complete awesome movie, the TS of this by TMMVCD is tottally covered up by their speed, the quality on another hand isn't as bad as some, but the sound, is harsh. Thanks guys, and keep rlsing. 6/5/8

Wasn't that bad with the Treble & Bass all the way down, and I would rather a vcd be to bright rather then to dark. The movie was very watchable so no complaints from me.

Regards..
Webber

the hiss???

Just my 2 cents.....

Just about any audio editing program has "de-hiss" filters. The one I use is NeroWAVEdit. You can rip the audio from the mpeg file using VirtualDUB, then open up NeroWAVEdit and load the WAV, then load the De-Hiss and Noise Reduction filters. It takes some time and trial and error to get it right, but once you do, I guess it's worth it. And you can always fiddle with your stereo system to get the buzzing and hiss to go away, usually you can just lower the treble a little bit and it goes away.

I forgot to add that after you fix the audio u need to re-multiplex it using TMPGEnc.
