wow, what is there to say except "128 audio"? try again.

visual quality was decent, but this entire release stinks of stupid.

STUPID, YOU SO STUPID. 128 audio. lol. ill stick with my 3 cd release. thank you

see, usually i'd add some condescending remark as to how the group suck, and how their attempts are laughable.

in this case, i dont need to, as their work speaks for itself. i wouldn't make my worst enemies sit thru a 128kbit soundtrack. yeesh. kazaa ready?

Ok, since I seem to be the only person who actually downloaded this and watched a fair bit of it, I must say that it looks fine next to DCi's, and really ... I can't hear any difference in audio quality. But whatever ... it got nuked, so that's that.

Feel free to download before commenting instead of jumping on bandwagons. Cuz otherwise what's the point of this forum?

G-Unit ... you pay $0.25 per disc? Damn. I thought my $0.14 was bad.

³ AUDIO: ³
³ - Minimum 224kbit @ 44.1khz (regardless of source) ³

³ VIDEO: ³
³ - CCE: 4 pass minimum ³

From The SVCD Releasing Standards 2002...

Both 128kbit audio and only 3-Pass VBR in CCE.
Great proper

Those standards are never used, TCF and CTP only does 3-pass (even seen 2). But yea I wouldnt use 128 audio even for myself, maybe 192 and chop off credits maybe.

This release is the joke of the month. 128kbit audio muhahaha.

i also have this copy, and there's nothing wrong with it, imo...i noticed the audio compression maybe twice out of the whole movie. movie wasn't good enough to me to warrant 3 discs...

I disagree. EVEN GLITTER WOULD WARRENT 3 CDS FOR OVER 128 SOUND FOR A SVCD (well maybe not glitter, but ANYTHING ELSE). 224 is the quality for SVCD and it is needed. You cant just go and do 128 unless it is internal or it will be NUKED!

lol. so let me make sure I understand you fully. in a discussion about the audio quality of a release, your argument is that it sucks because it was nuked. rofl. and, what's more, that anything less than 224kbps audio is automatically poor quality simply because the "scene rules" say so. hehehe

I went and looked at t4l's other two releases. I was only able to find the Sample for the Internal "The Last Dragon". It was SVCD 192kbps audio and, surprise surprise, sounded fine. And remember, I watch in an auditorium with enormous, not-very-high-quality speakers. For "Jailhouse Rock", I got the whole XviD at 96kbps audio and, amazing, it sounded crystal. Probably because the movie was filmed in 1957 and a higher bitrate would have been pointless.

So far I have yet to *hear* any problems with these releases, despite the lower file sizes, though I can't be certain about that Last Dragon. /me waits and sees ...
