so whos seen the hulk and what did you think about it?
watched it last night and i kinda hafta admit it wasnt too bad of a movie the story line worked quite well u kinda get used to the way the hulk looks and nick nolte is easily the standout in this movie..what did the rest of you lil green monsters think
I thought the movie was pretty good, but Im hoping 10-15 minutes of the first half of the movie get editted out. It took too long for the action to get started.
This was the best movie adaptation of a comic book character Ive seen.
They took the basic origin story tweaked it a little bit to fit into the 21st century. The US Goverment isnt setting off large above ground explosions anymore. Some of the things the Hulk does are amazing like when the Hulk gets even more mad he gets evenbigger
even in the comics artists very rarely got that point across.
The mean detraction though is its the Hulk has no personality. Hulk comics were being printed for almost 20 years before the Hulk devolped into more than a 2 dimensonal character. When they do the sequel I hope the notice how much better Xmen2 was compared to the first one just pick up where the first left off and keep up the pace.
the gamma radiated poodle was a nice touch.
I havn't seen it yet but I bet there plugging the hell out of Mountain Dew. Ive been playing the game and I've seen Mountain Dew in one form or another at least 4 times.
Does the Hulk have the gamma radiation claps(no, not Hulk VD) in this movie? The 3 mile leaps, Hulk Dogs, grey Hulk Professor Ryker? I know, I know, shut the hell up Spiderman. Noone wants to know all this stuff.
I have a strong feeling that Hulk is going to beat Spidermans box office records for biggest opening weekend. I may be wrong but the way there plugging the commercials and the way everyone is talking about it. Hulk will rule this summer at the box office
yea the movie did start off slowwwwwww i know they had to set up the whole origin and stuff but after seeing the commercials for it i just wanted to see stuff get torn apart and destroyed but yea good movie overall and the dogs kinda reminded me of the dog on The Mask near the end when he put on the mask lol
yeah.. uhh.. like i said in the #...
as a movie.. its good.. very suprising.. that they kept the hulk dark.. i think it was darkslide i was talking to about it.. but the movie is really more about anger/rage/hate... human emotion.. than it is the hulk itsself..
what i DIDNT like.. were teh cheesy ass special effects..the CG is horrible for this movie.. they turned the hulk into some damn glob of clay..
but the story is good.. and not dumbed down for the kiddies.. it pretty much sticks adult oriented

i liked this better than spiderman but not as much as batman returns. the latter is somewhat of an exception seeing that it was a sequel (one of the best). punisher better be darker. if not that then the next superman, if they make one.

Im hoping when this movie hits theaters the CGI is more polished and the story is a little fine tuned. The ending can use a little work.
I would have hoped the Absorbing man would have been a little more like the comic book visually although Nic Nolte did a outstanding job so Im not complaining. In fact Nic and Sam Sheperd are the only two that act in the whole movie. Banner and Betsy are just peices of the Hulk story wise.
Nic Nolte made such a better villian in this movie than Will Ferrel and Michal Duncan Clarke did in Daredevil. Great movies made from comics must have a)superhero who wears thights that fights villians that also wear tights or b) superhero with extrodinary powers fighting villians that have comparable abilities.

Farrel didnt wear a costume when he played Bullseye which in my opion would have made the movie Daredevil slightly better.
Hulk is a good movie adaption of a comic bookcharacter.
Daredevil bad movie adaption of a comic book character.
My apoligies to Will Ferral for impling he was in Daredveil the movie.

Crap movie, and did you see the CGI when The Hulk broke out from under those rocks when they turned it into a "parking lot". Its so shit, looks completely fake.

Maybe Me and my bro are the only ones who noticed, but since some of the CG wasn't done, they showed the Hulk naked, When he is killing the tanks. Its funny as shit. Kinda disturbing to see the hulks ass though.
I liked it a lot more than i figured I would. Nick Nolte did an awesome Job, Jennifer Conelly looked awesome. The dude that played Bruce did a good job. In the original David was the Hulk so there are some differences. But overall it was a decent movie. I hope they cover the hulk up better. lol.
The action sequences were the best part of the movie. They did a good job, and I can't wait to see a final copy

ick.
this movie was bad. the premise was an interesting take on the Hulk story, but the plot was just awful. at no point in the movie was I wondering what was going to happen next ... I just didn't care. The characters motives were shifting left and right so quickly that it made my head spin. Especially that blond bad guy.
Nick Nolte was mildly good, but his character was really poorly written. No depth to him at all ... just an apparent complete change of personality from the flashbacks to the present.
I thought the guy who played Bruce was simply wrong for the part. Or maybe Ang Lee was going overboard trying to fashion a "Hulk archetype" out of him.
Jennifer Connelly was good in her role. But again it was hard to see what if anything she was trying to do with the character because it was such a limited part.
And the General. Ugh! The worst of all. Talk about overacting. He also needs to stop using the tanning salon.
And for those of you who don't care about character development and plot and only wanted to see action ... well, I think everyone above summed things up pretty nicely. The CG is not credible (even in the parts that were already complete in the workprint), the plot rushes through some of the action sequences so quickly that we don't really see what's going on. And for the parts that we do see in detail, the screenplay was simply comical. The Hulk looked like a little marionette being pulled around by wires.
Blech. Awful.
