The Hulk - TELESYNC - ViM

one word: why?

jesus

This is not needed at all.....even if it were an extremely good TS. But, this is not that.....horrible video + sound

4/5/1

::Edit:: The NFO is funny...."some DVD players can't play SVCD so we thought we might as well release this"....as if that is a good reason to release a crappy vcd. joe vcd user would be better off re-encoding the ctp release ;/

three words: read the nfo

I don't personally agree with this. If your player can't play SVCD, get some cheap Apex, but whatever. It is brighter than Centropys, but not nearly CTP's quality imo. The sound is average. Definitely stick with CTP's and just encode to vcd if you can't play svcd. lol 5/5/9 Good for a first release, but seeing as though this isn't... lol

ctp released the best ts...no need for another ts on the scene, but whatever floats your boat. props though for the best ts VCD.

hehehe, i was waiting for that.

gotta give ViM some cheers, not bad for a newish group, and they have a sense of humour. pretty pointless release, imo...they prolly had it kicking around, and just let it out...maybe just to get thier name noticed.

better than the other vcds (even the WP) judging from sample, anyways, but i'll stick with the svcd till retail...not a fan of this movie at all...

The workprint is perfect, will beat any of the current telesyncs To be totaly honest a telesync is not needed at all, who cares about the odd gfx glitch? I cant stand the quality of any telesync even most of ctps :/

This release is not needed, standard silver quality. Like other groups do with releases such as this ..."THEY INTERNAL!!!" Although under proper rules these can not be duped, imagine if all groups followed this logic, we would be getting VCD DVDRips with the same reasons, perfect SVCD telesyncs would be re-released (probally re-encoded) with the same reason.

5/6/8

Im guessing people will nuke this for being a dupe, when we all know if these were released in the other order, ViM then CTP, CTP wouldnt have got nuked...I know its been said alot and i just said it again, but personally, i always nuke ctp for Dupes

Posted by Tweezer on 06-30-2003 09:18 PM:

release is a decent TS, i have downloaded anything besides the workprint, didnt like the movie and wont waste my time till retail. but a fair TS none the less if you want a vcd encode

Opne the file in media player
click file/properties
then click the advanced tab
you can now see the codecs in use (For the file playing) bring up the video properties and it'll tell you the frame rate.
25==Pal
29.whatever==shitty horrible NTSC

Centropy's release is so awesome. Think ViM! THINK! Next stop: Screener/DVD Screener

Posted by flatland on 06-30-2003 11:30 PM:

decent job.

definitly wouldve been more positive things to say from some people above if you guys released it before CTP so keep up the good work. Hope to see some more titles by you guys

If someone can't play SVCD then they'll be much better off to take CTP's Hulk and re-encode to MPEG-1. This just seems silly to me is all.

Posted by Mr_Grinch on 07-01-2003 12:59 AM:

Stop arguing.

This seems a bit of a backwards release, normally lower quality vcd and THEN svcd... not the other way around. Oh and with regards to the workprint being fine... it wasn't... it was horrible, picture ill-defined, something like a 5th or 6th generation copy with hideous tracking lines through it and VERY difficult to see in some dark segments.

ANyway, back to this release, it would be a fair release had the ctp not come before it, Vim seem a very promising group, keep up the good work, just with a bit more speed
