What was wrong with this one that they had to have a rerip? Never seen a nuke reason

If you compare the two NFO's you can see the resolution differs. I think the 640x3xx resolution of the initial rip was to big for the size of the release (1 CD 93 minutes). It's a good decision to decrease the resolution in order to improve the picture quality in this case.

I guess bad AR was reason.

If that was the case they should not have to change the ratio and that's what's happend in the rerip. First rip was a nice 16:9 ratio of the rerip is a a ratio unknown by me (16:8.64865).

You're right, I see now. The first rip had an A.R. of 1.74:1, the rerip has the proper A.R. of 1.85:1

Is 1:1.85 the original AR, or is it it "forced" upon the releasegroups? I work as a projectionist, and I've seen quite a few 35 mm movies in 1:1.75. It's called American widescreen, and the 1:1.85 format is known as French widescreen.
