It seems to be cropped a bit

V 9 best so far
A ? don't know my speakers are blown and haven't listened to it yet
M 7 very entertaining, but kind of wacked. good action scenes though

decent action movie i guess but god was unrealistic typical i guess

Posted by yatri25 on 12-15-2005 07:31 AM:

Looks like a Rip to me.

The.Transporter.2.TC.XviD-Stinker
is the best TC for this movie.

Transporter.2.WS.DVDRip.XviD-CRNTV
Definitely has sharper video. There is also much less white wash out. The audio is also very different. CRNTV's release has a much lower volume with a richer range of tones. In contrast, [Stinker's release is great for a TC] Stinker's audio sounds more tinny and raw.

So,
9 video
8 audio
8 movie - movie is disappointingly unrealistic in several scenes. So, a typical sequel, not as good as the original. Watchable, but not admirable as The Transporter (1st) was.

bad quality source?

By the sample, it looks like the colours are a bit off (a little too saturated or something). It's unfortunate that the sample is so short and doesn't show any scenes with vibrant colours but the colours in the sample make the quality of the source look like it is in question. I could be wrong though (and hope that I am) since I haven't seen either the film version (i.e. in theatres) or the TC version. Basically I'm judging from the part in the sample where it shows Statham's face, which is pretty short. That's why I wish the sample showed more (it's only 16 seconds long and doesn't show much in that time). After all, it could have just been a filter used for that one shot. I'll repost after I get the whole thing (If I haven't been corrected already)

7.5/8/?

Edit: OK, after scanning through the full version, I see that the rest of the movie is the same. It definitely looks like a dvd rip, but the dvd source looks a slight bit "off". Maybe it's because it's a PAL DVD? DVDs look different in the North American market (from what I'm used to anyway). The colours somehow look better and the image is a bit more crisp. I don't know if that's a PAL/NTSC thing (theoretically PAL is supposed to be better though). Anyway, the group did a good job encoding, I guess I'm just a bit picky about the source. I'll know for sure when I see a rip of an NTSC source. It could be a mastering issue as well.

TC or retail? i dont really give a steamy shite

v 9 (its fine for 1CD xvid and looks like retail to me)

a 9 (fine)

m 6 (cheesy, but entertaining)

thanks for this. and besides the only reason for me to replace stinker's version is coz if the tinny audio. so this will do fine whatever it is

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

v/9 good
a/9 decent
m/7 statham has done some good work this is good but not great.

Jesus, who decides that these things should be nuked?

Anyone who has seen this release will know it's not a TC, the video quality is far too crisp and rigid to be anything but DVD source, fair enough the saturation and hue is ever so slightly off but it can very easily be changed, even in WMP.

Excellent release all in all.

Video - 9 (saturation issues are easily fixed so stop crying)
Audio - 8 ( Slight residual tones, may just have been my speakers)
Movie - 8 (Cliched, but always good to see unrealistic violence)

I was wondering what some posters meant when they said the film was "unrealistic" but after seeing I understand. Could help but chuckle a bit during some of the stunt scenes, but its still a good movie, good fighting sequences.

Deffinately not TC as source, i tried watching that a few weeks back and turned it off after 15 mins. The quality tops the TC hands down. Slightly oversaturated colors like previous posters mentioned.

Audio is great stereo, loud and rich.

video - 8
audio - 9
movie - 7

This is definitely NOT a dvdrip.

That is, unless when they made it, there is supposed to be a person walking infront of the camera on the left side of the screen starting @ 1:04:15

It amazes me that someone would say it is definitely from dvd from watching just the sample.

Definitely not as good as the first movie. They try to defy gravity with a car, and you just shouldn't do it. It brings the whole movie down by adding insulting stunts.

I did enjoy the movie as a whole though. Recommend it to fans of car chases, which is the target audience.

Video-8, except for a few sections that rate a 7
Audio-8, after a bit of equalizer adjustments
Movie-7.5, I was entertained the whole way thru, which is the goal. Would have been higher but was agrivated by the person walking in front of camera.

This may have been a different version renamed to dvdrip.crntv, but this was in rar format with all the appropriate files included. Who knows these days.

v 9
a 8 little hollow to me
m 7 for an action movie - but the crap visual effects near the end drag it down a little *the plane sequence is more over the top than a charlie's angels movie.
