Wonderful about time a group released a PROPER release of this movie, and imo this movie is waaaay better than titanic.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Hmm, its a very small glitch, and ive already downed 9gb on this so far, and alot dont like much of this movie, so.......

Anyway, from sample and 2 random rars.

Video is same as last release, grainy, but nothing major.
Audio as before very nice.

9/9/?

Same here, got this twice already, not worth getting again, but glad to see that someone is concerned about getting fixed what needed to be fixed.

Hope you're not paying by the gigabyte?

I have a nasty feeling the glitch is still there. The sample VOB they posted from CJ is not from the same place where it occured in FCR.

EDIT: Scrub that. I've just checked frame by frame and the disc is clean at the 80min, 39sec mark. More importantly, it doesn't lock-up on some players like the FCR transfer did. Never got around to checking CJ's before downloading this.

EDIT: As an aside, this new movie is considerably more grainy and less-sharp than the recently remastered "Dr No" which is over 40 years old but I don't suppose there is very much Emerald can do about that.

Wrong.

As someone else said, it was the tiniest of glitches, something that even some dvd pressing batches have had in the years past.

This proper is completely unneeded. If you're seriously 'happy' to have a release with a couple of frames glitch-free then you got problems.

I'm a huge movie buff, and I download/burn my dvdr's in less than 1 hour total, but I can't think of maybe 2 DVD's in my entire collection that I'd re-encode or download just to fix a 1/4th-second glitch.

And btw, there's been a "proper" or two of this floating around by no-name groups in some places for days now, anyway...

Fuck That! A glitch is a glitch. Someone people (myself included) like movies that don’t fuck up. Yeah you can say oh well it’s just a little glitch and it’s no big deal. I appreciate this proper! Its shows quality control. Without some kind of quality control the whole dvdr scene would go to shit. So the point here is if you want a perfect release get this. It’s hard to believe a “huge movie buff” would accept a sub par release.

The small glitch in the FCR release I didn't even notice haha.

But I always appreciate the proper and I agree it is needed.

But if you are happy with the FCR release don't bother.

Maybe we should proper the 50+ dvdr releases in the last couple years that have a menu glitch (allowing you to highlite 'extras' when there are none, for example).

ROFL.. You're hilarious.

That is a poor example. That's not a glitch, that's being lazy. Menus we can correct, unlike the glitch at 1:20:49.

Some people consider it a glitch, but my point was that there are other equally imperfect 'errors' in an encode of a dvdr release that we don't proper, and that was just one simple example I gave. Obviously you didn't read the whole post I made.

The thing was, Mr. "pablo_escobar" said that his "point" was this proper is a "perfect release" and that the other release was "sub par" because of a 1/4th-second video hiccup. He was wrong, and I called him out on it.
