Konica Minolta

anyone ever used a Konica Minolta C550 Bizhub network printer? i'm having some issues with the "send email" function. the error says "server connection error" but all settings are correct, i'm sure. even the konica ppl can't help with this one. just thought someone out there was already familiar with this and might offer up some sort of solution.

thanks.

Switch it off and then back on again.

Could it be a router/firewall issue... Everything is configured perfectly but not reaching the destination?

actually, i figured it out. turns out the Konica can't connect to an smtp server (or domain controller for that matter) if there's more than a 5 minute time difference in their system time. so i got the ntp server name from our hosting solution and applied it to the Konica (and our domain controller) and presto.

i'm just glad it worked... those japanese can be quite demanding.

thanks tho NS
