I agree pho, remember Godzilla 2000. the thing is that a sequels will never be as good as the originals simply because you seen it all before. It be funny to see the sequel to the matrix fail like scary movie 2 but that wont happen the matrix always has allot of eye candy.
I agree with you as well, most sequels aren't that great, and can be quiet lame at times, which can irritate me.. But some are good, and the Matrix ones will be because of all the action and such. There is so much to see, I just hope it isn't to love mushy...
i thought the original Ring 2 was really good as far as sequels go if they do make an american sequel it will be nothing like the japanese one though because they've butchered the story too much already, and they can never make Ring 0 because sadako in the american one is way too young

A good film's a good film, whether it's a sequel or not. Think of all the excellent films we'd have missed out on if there had been no sequels!
I agree that we shouldn't have to put up with studios trying to make a quick buck by pumping out rubbish, but they do this as much with sequels as they do with... things that... aren't sequels..
What's the name for something that ain't a sequel, by the way?
